G1:GP LMP - Donington

Tendaze took firm grasp of this seasons title with another faultless drive around the Donington Park race track. Elsewhere, however, some drivers were struggling. The Audi's seemed to have issues here as all 4 qualified in the bottom half of a depleted grid.

Katier in particular was vocal about her problems as she found herself unable to attack corners as hard as she wanted with the car insisted on understeering. This got worse as the RF heated up ultimately overheating.

Jafo made a good start from pole with Sulla slotting in behind benefiting from Launch Control again. Katier made a cracking start and was challenging Crippy but a mistake, spin, and she was last.

So at the end of lap one Jafo lead easilly from Sulla with Suzy taking third from Crippy a lap later. The R8's were still struggling, being dropped by the leaders straight away.

It was expected that the cars would likely to be stopping twice so it was no surprise when the stops started on lap 13 of 30. The race leader, however, made it through to lap 15 and with that the race was, effectively, won.

Further back Sulla spun, lost her rear wing, and a lap. She soon recaught Reitveld, struggling as she was, passing her wasn't hard. Sulla, however, spun again and had to recatch and pass the R8.

Rattra had a quiet race but late race problems caused him to drop back behind Reitveld. Up front Jafo was clear but Suzy and Crippy continued to battle behind.

Crippy dropped back after her second stop, and briefly was behind Yuriko but she soon retook fourth place.

An impressive and dominating win for Jafo pretty much guarantee's his victory in the seasons championship. The other places are up for grabs, however, so there is everything to race for in the final race of the season.
